Es ist mal wieder soweit \u2013 es gibt ein neues Video von Annie Leonhardt<\/strong> und ihrem Story of Stuff<\/strong>-Team. Diesmal geht es, wie der Titel \u201eThe Story of Broke<\/strong><\/a>\u201c schon nahelegt, um (Staats-)Verschuldung, Steuern und Staatsausgaben. Leider liegt der Clip derzeit nur auf Englisch vor, aber er wird sicherlich auch irgendwann auf Deutsch erscheinen. Was den in untenstehender Beschreibung auftauchenden \u201eAmerican Dream\u201c angeht, so kann man mich mit solchen Floskeln zwar nicht k\u00f6dern \u2013 interessant ist das Video trotzdem.<\/p>\n

\nThe United States isn\u2019t broke<\/strong>; we\u2019re the richest country on the planet and a country in which the richest among us are doing exceptionally well. But the truth is, our economy is broken<\/strong>, producing more pollution, greenhouse gasses and garbage than any other country. In these and so many other ways, it just isn\u2019t working. But rather than invest in something better, we continue to keep this \u2018dinosaur economy\u2019 on life support with hundreds of billions of dollars of our tax money. The Story of Broke<\/em> calls for a shift in government spending toward investments<\/strong> in clean, green solutions\u2014renewable energy, safer chemicals and materials, zero waste and more\u2014that can deliver jobs AND a healthier environment. It\u2019s time to rebuild the American Dream; but this time, let\u2019s build it better.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
